Mommies only: Who had a drug-free birth with endless painful contractions or delivery?

For me i was in the tub for 2 cycles(40 mins) and the rest of the time i was in the rocking chair. For some reason i found it easier to cope with the pain in the chair, as for the bed i couldn’t handle the pain there at all! So just move around and try different things and see what works for you. Some people say walking helps, but for me i could barely make it to the bathroom. As for trying it again, yes that’s what i plan on doing this time around too, and maybe staying in the tub longer. But birthing i would prob do in the bed.

i have 5 children my 4th child was born by emergancy section and the ohers i had every drug going so when i fell pregnant with number 5 i was determined i was going to have a vbac and have it drug free – and i got the birth i wanted i just consentrated on the end product and when the pain got unbearable i growned and squeazed the hubbies hand very hard but it was all woth it when my 9lb 9oz baby boy came into the world and i found that the recovey time was quicker and i was much more with it after the birth even got up and had a shower
