I don’t think you should have any thumbs down for an honest question. Neurologically, a person can (initially) feel good because the brain is flooded w/so much seratonin, dopamine etc. Over time, the very neurotransmitters that brought about such ecstasy are depleted – essentially, the body becomes bankrupt of the very things that provide pleasure and heal pain. The addict becomes very sick and needs drugs to feel normal. Soon, even normal is impossible. Bad stuff, drugs. Heroin is pure evil.

The only substance you mentioned that’s not a drug is food – but I get your drift. Addiction is a 3 fold disease: Physical, Mental and Spiritual (’psychological’ is an ancient Greek term meaning ‘way of the soul’) Recovery from addiction involves honestly dealing with all 3 realms on a daily basis – sometimes on a moment by moment basis. Addiction is cunning and baffling. Nevertheless, a simple and straightforward recovery is possible for those of us who want it. Millions need it, few want it.

Never believe an active addict. And it’s not even that you’re deliberately lying, but you are lying – that’s the nature of the disease. The central truth about the disease is that it’s deceptive. All drugs lie. I’m an alcoholic (in recovery) and from this healthy vantage point can recognize that I have a disease that tells me I don’t have a disease. And I have recovery – one day at a time – based upon my spiritual fitness. I hope you can find what I have.

im telling you this is how it works 9 times out of ten you have the basic drugs (pot,cigs,alcahol) then level 2 like (shrooms,pain killers) then all hardcore like (heroin,coke,e,meth) its all about living with level 1 or not doing drugs at all

Smack these days are only taken a 3 to 5 cut. Back in the days it was taken a 14 to a 20 of cut..It’s funny how the U.S. never questions how these ARABS opening these half a million to a million dollar franchise like 7 eleven or BP’s, EXXON, ect. Never ask where the money comes from. Never get lock up. Always the street corner guys. They even own the shore docks, up and down the east coat, GIGANTIC steal boxes with tons of cargo(HERION), weapons? All of them r not from royalty! believe that!

That stuff is meant for severe injuries only or for those who are dying of pancreatic cancer. It is not meant for recreational use. It will hook you and change your brain chemistry. But all this said, I would rather be using opium than alcohol. Alcohol is the worst.

i dont understand why people have to use the drugs! Be happy 24/4 its possible! I have done it!! Why cant anyone else! My job is the hardest Job ever!! & I have no reason to turn to drugs!! If your on drugs! Just get help!! Live a Longer life! have a good life! just be YOU! Lots of poeople have been trained upppp to help people to quit! jsut get them to help you! It wll be better for you i th log run!!!!!!!!

its an internal pleasure unlike anything else. heron works through our internal pain regulation channels, thats the reason for withdrawls. we naturally have an analog of heroin pumping through us, making life tolerable. but once you start using, our bodies stop/greatly reduce their production of endorphins, our natural opiate. when youre on, you have a pleasure thats unobtainable in any natural facet of life. when youre off, you have to have it in order to reach even equilibrium
