Are Canadian Naturopathic Drs qualified to prescribe pharmaceutical drugs?

They cannot prescribe pharmaceutical drugs…..that is….write a prescription for a druggist in a pharmacy to fill. Mostly they rely on ‘herbal medicine’ … which is not regulated anywhere near as closely as is the right to write prescriptions for a druggist.

I do not think naturalpaths are doctors.
A doctor could also be a naturalpath.
A physician or a doctor can perscribe drugs or natural non medicinal products.
A pharmacy can fulfil – dispense what a physician prescribes. – Normally a medicinal drug.
A pharmacy can sell over the counter items such as natur alpathic medicine and tons of other products.
Check with College of Physician Associations.
Naturalpath is becoming a licensed profession at present time, but it does not make them doctors.
